“Bishop to c4. It develops a piece and eyes f7, the weakest square on the board. Good move.”

Questions
Before you ask
Is it really free?
Yes. All 100 lessons, the puzzles, the openings, the endgames, and training games against the Guru are free forever. The free tier includes 5 Guru voice narrations and 15 chat questions every day, plus 1 free Guru game review. Pro reviews every game you play. No card needed.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited Guru voice and chat, a study plan that refreshes daily with an ELO projection, the full master games library, unlimited saved sessions, and priority email support. $7/month or $59/year, both starting with a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings or email hello@aichess.guru; access runs to the end of the billing period. There is also a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
Does it work for complete beginners?
Yes. Your first game calibrates the Guru to your level, and every explanation is spoken in plain English at that level. Beginners get walked through ideas like forks and pins; stronger players get plans and structures.
How does the voice work?
After each move, the Guru grades the position with a chess engine, writes a short explanation for your level, and speaks it aloud while the text appears on screen. You can also type questions and get answers mid-game.
Your next 1,000 games can teach you something.
